The project brief was to redesign a book cover for the Penguin Student competition. I decided to create a simple and timeless pattern of the atom particle. I kept the type minimal and simple, so it was not too busy amongst the patterned background.
This was a quick mockup of an alternative illustrative design for the same book, to appeal to a different group.
